While not on topic(PVR etc) A Newtek rep ran a demo of the Video Flyer
for us and it was very impressive as far as nle goes. The Audio worked
very well. He picked a clip a frame from it and zap the audio cut in
exactly as required. He also did editing between a few clips and that
was also very impressive. Of course this was on the Amiga 4000 with
the Toaster/flyer setup.  setup loke this linked to an Alpha LW
station would have the best of both worlds. I believe he said the
closest competition (media 100??) was 25,000+ . This is true NLE.
The rep actually brings a NewTek demo reel with him and then
digitizes it on the spot to prepare for editing. He mixed the
clips with Toaster transitons also. It will be interesting to
see what the PC version will offer.
